Parent/Guardian Info

PreCan/Canskate First session information

Routines build confidence. Let’s make the first ice calm and easy.

  • Arrive 15 minutes early: check in at the club desk, grab your name tag, quick bathroom break, helmet check, skates tied.

  • Meet-up: Skaters meet in the changeroom 5 minutes before start. Coaches/assistants will introdce themselves and then escort skaters on and off the ice. Parents will stay for a longer info session and then can watch from the viewing area.

  • Where to watch: Stands or marked viewing glass only. Please don’t stand at gates, in benches, or along the boards.

  • Pick-up: Be at the door  2 minutes before the session ends. Coaches will release skaters to a known adult as they get off.
